For all the religious minded people, Hanuman Temple or the Anjaneya Swamy Temple is a perfect place to seek blessings. The temple, flanked by two pretty shrines, is located at the Gopuram road. As the name suggests, the temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the great devotee of Lord Rama.
The temple is associated with an interesting legend, which says that the deity stopped Sri Satya Sai Baba while he was about to circumambulate the temple, by saying that it is the deity who is to pay reverence and respect.
One can see a beautiful Shiva Lingam at the entrance of the temple. This Shiva Lingam is believed to be brought by Sai Baba from Kasim. The temple has a beautiful sanctum which houses the main idol of the deity, which seems to be engraved inside a cave. A pool of water is at the foot of the deity, which symbolizes Lord Hanuman's tears. It clearly reflects Hanuman's devotion to his master Lord Rama.
The temple, located between Kalyana Mandapam and the Sathyabhama temple, offers a serene and sacred ambiance to the longing souls.
