Mypad Beach

Ramakrishna Beach

This is the most popular beach of Visakhapatnam with its serene waters and tranquil atmosphere. Overlooking the Bay of Bengal, this picturesque beach is the extension of the Coromandal Coast of India. Tourists often visit this place for sunbathing and surfing. The famous Visakha Utsav, a grand festival of Andhra Pradesh, is celebrated at this beach only.

Rishikonda Beach

Carpeted with golden yellow sands and hemmed by the superb coconut trees, the Rishikonda beach is synonymous with tranquility. Wind surfing, water skiing, sunbathing and sun-basking are the most popular activities here.

Bheemunipatnam Beach

This exquisite beach offers a calm and serene atmosphere and also ensures full fledged entertainment for the visitors. River Gosthani (a medium sized east flowing river that originates on the Ananthagiri Hills of the Western Ghats) adds some more beauty to the region. The beach has a unique red sand. One can find a number of pilgrim centers, old churches and temples near the beach.

Manginapudi Beach

Serving as the gateway for commercial activities in India, the Manginapudi Beach is located at a distance of 11 km from the Machilipatnam in Krishna District. This natural harbour is also famous for the Dutch memories associated with the area. Apart from sightseeing, the beach also offers ample opportunities for water skiing and swimming. The water is shallow and safe.
